I saw something I want to recognize! Now what?
10 step guide to using this site to making a recognition:
Step 1. Log in to your account (or register if you do not yet have one)
Step 2. Click: "Recognize Someone Now"
Step 3. In the Honoree box type the name of the person you wish to honor
Step 4. Insert an E-mail address they can be reached at (this is necessary so they can accept the recognition)
Step 5. Write a short Headline that sums up the recognition
Step 6. Insert your story or thank you into the larger text box
Step 7. Add a photo or video if you desire
Step 8. If you would like your recognition to be considered for the Legends Program, check the box
Step 9. Click - SUBMIT (but you're not done yet... step 10 is important!)
Step 10. Review the submission and don't forget to click "submit for moderation"

When you make a donation through our site, be sure to save and/or print the confirmation e-mail you receive from RecognizeGood for your tax records. However, the honoree that chooses the charity that will receive the donation does not receive the same tax-deduction. Are there fees when I donate through RecognizeGood?
Yes. RecognizeGood charges a small tax-deductible fee for credit card transactions. This fee is used to pay banks, credit card companies and other administrative costs. RecognizeGood does not profit from the fees.
